What Christmas Isn't

Just before Christmas I had lunch with one of my Muslim friends. I've know him for a few years. Suddenly it dawned on me that he probably doesn't know the real meaning of Christmas. I needed to tell him what Christmas is not. It is not Santa Claus. It is not Christmas trees. It is not parties, not gifts, etc. Of course I got to what Christmas really is. He seemed to appreciate hearing all that. He is now married to a Christian and getting closer to choosing Jesus. It was an interesting time to clear the air as to the real celebration and focus on our Savior. After all, how would he know if someone didn't tell him?
